I've always had a love for photography. I can remember growing up, looking at picture books and wondering "how did they make that photograph?". I enjoyed taking pictures of friends and family with my Brownie camera. I also had fun with my Polaroid Swinger camera taking instant pictures.
I enjoyed it so much I decided it to the next level. In 1980 I took a photography course program from the New York Institute of Photography. I completed the course and earned a certificate in photography. It was then that I decided to turn my hobby into a business.
I had a passion for creativity and decided to get into shooting models. I freelanced for several modeling agencies and dance studios. The New York Institute of Photography started offering specialized courses, so I took an advanced course in Glamour photography. I was enjoying shooting models and dance recitals when I was approached by a studio to shoot weddings. I thought it was a great opportunity so I decided to give it a whirl.
I worked with the studio for a couple of years and then decided to go on my own. 30 years later - here I am! I still love doing photography as much as I did when I was a kid. I would love to be a part of your life forever by taking everlasting pictures for you and your family.
